The Silver Anvil is the most prestigious award in the public relations industry. Aurora Award

Awarded Platinum Best of Show for Red Alert: Washington's Unhealthy Air (view clip). Produced for the Sierra Club, this public information video alerts viewers to the health problems caused by air pollution from excessive traffic and sprawl in the Washington, D.C. region.

 

         

New York Festivals Award

Hosted by former U.S. Surgeon General, C. Everett Koop, Today's Science, Tomorrow's Practice (view clip), celebrates achievements in gastroenterology over the past century. Shown to 12,000 physicians and researchers on the 100th anniversary of the American Gastroenterological Association.

Limelight has won numerous Tellys, including awards for Red Alert! Limelight has won a number of Communicator Awards including their Crystal Award of Excellence for Antibiotics in Livestock: A Human Health Threat, produced for the Sierra Club (view clip), and for The Big Ford Store, a regional television spot that includes original animation and jingle.

 

         
               

Cindy Award

For Project Impact (view clip), a compelling video profiling one of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's most visible programs. The nationally-distributed video instructs local communities how to avoid damage from natural disasters by implementing preventive techniques.

                       

Thoth Award

Awarded by the Public Relations Society of America for The Crisis Program, a public information campaign educating New Yorkers on the need for a dedicated tax to fix the state's deteriorating roads and bridges (view clip).

 

       

Creativity in Public Relations Award (CIPRA)

Awarded by Inside PR magazine for The Aerosol Adventure (view clip), an educational video which uses humor and fantasy to dispel misconceptions about the use of CFC's in consumer aerosol products. Distributed to high schools across the country.

 

   

Videographer Award

For DDW Live! (view clip), a live news show covering the annual convention of the world's top medical associations in gastroenterology. The show featured interviews with premiere clinicians in the field, pre-produced video packages, an anchor desk, roving reporters and 15-hours of live news coverage over four days.

 

   

Media Communications' Golden Reel Award

For John Lewis, a moving profile of the renouned civil rights leader and U.S. Congressman, produced for the National Council of La Raza.

 

       


Axiem Award

Awarded for Absolute eXellence In Electronic Media. Limelight was honored for designing and creating an animated show open for DDW Live! (view clip), a live television broadcast of a major medical convention.

 

Washington International Film Festival's Rosebud Award

For a humorous short video on former Washington, D.C. mayor Marion Barry, performed by political comedy troupe, Gross National Product. Aired on PBS.
